Styling Tips:
- Prep hair by applying a texturizing product and thermal protectant to damp hair before blow-drying and styling.
- Create a center part and comb hair into the desired direction.
- Then, use your fingers to rough dry hair, helping to accentuate your hair’s natural texture. Use your fingers to comb through and slightly tousle hair. Remember, to hold the dryer at a downwards angle to hair.
- When hair is dry, apply a dry texture powder or dry shampoo to your roots and and use your fingers to gently scrunch your roots and build texture.
- After blowout, use a large barrel curling rod, on low heat, to bend random pieces of hair around your head. To bend hair, wrap a small section of hair around the wand, one time. Heat hair on wand for about 10 seconds and then slowly pull the wand downwards out of hair. Start each bend at varying distances down each strand of hair you bend. When bending hair, be sure to bend your front, face-framing layers, away form your face.
- After curling hair, spritz the ends of hair with a dry texture, finishing spray and use your fingers to gently tousle and style hair as desired.
