  • Apply both a volume enhancing and a thermal protecting product to damp hair, to protect your hair from heat while adding volume and hold to hair.

  • Blow dry hair, backwards using a round thermal brush to lift hair up at the roots.

  • Once hair is dry, sprinkle a volume powder onto your roots and use your fingers to pull the powder upwards through hair.

  • Next, rub a small amount of styling paste or clay between hands, and use your fingers to style hair, creating tons of texture and a messy separated look.
