Styling Tips:





  • Apply a volume enhancing, thermal protectant to damp hair before blowdrying and styling. Look for a product that offers hold and minimizes frizz.

  • Blow dry hair using a round thermal brush to boost body and control hair, guiding hair in the desired direction and creating a side part where desired.

  • When hair is dry, divide hair into about three or four horizontal sections, separating each section with a clip.

  • Then, use, approximately, an one inch curling rod to curl hair, working with individual sections of hair at a time. Beginning with the lowest section of hair, wrap about an one inch strand of hair around the rod, curling hair under and holding the rod at a horizontal angle. Hold the curl in place for 8 seconds, and then slowly release the curl, using your free hand to catch and hold the curl in place. Instead of releasing the curl, use a small hair pin to keep curl clipped in its curled position on the head. Repeat these step for the remaining hair in this section, and for the following sections of hair. For this style, you will create identical curls going in the same directions around your entire head, using clips to hold curls in place, allowing the curls to set, as you continue.

  • Once, your hair is curled and curls are pinned in place, lightly spritz your hair with a lightweight finishing spray to help set curls to and hold their shape. Then, wait about 15 minutes, allowing curls to set.

  • Once curls are set, remove the hair pins from each curl, and use a brush to lightly brush through your curls.

  • Use your fingers to shape and style hair as desired and spritz hair with a finishing spray to hold style.
