Get this look:

  • Prepare hair by applying both a thermal protector and a volume boosting product to damp hair.

  • Comb products through hair.

  • Divide hair into sections, creating a side section, a top section, and a back section to make working with hair easier.

  • Then, use a round brush to blow dry hair straight, starting at the roots of your hair, lift hair up with the brush and pull hair back and downwards through the brush, curling hair inwards as the brush moves towards the ends of your hair. Using the round brush, go over the top section of hair at the back of the head and crown of the head a second time, lifting hair up from the roots and curling under.

  • Use the brush to blow dry front layers away from the face.

  • When hair is dry, use a dry volume spray at your roots to create lift, or use a teasing brush to create extra lift at the roots, focusing around the crown and top of your head, if extra volume is desired.

  • Then, use a flatiron, if needed, to enhance smoothness and control ends.

  • To complete the look, rub a small amount of volume and texture boosting cream between hands and work product into hair by gently pulling your fingers through your hair from the roots to the ends, to give hair extra lift. You can apply a small amount of paste to the ends of the hairs to achieve extra separation and definition.

  • Use your hands and use your fingers to shape and style hair as desired and hold hair in place by applying a lightweight finishing spray.
