Get this look:

  • Prepare hair by applying a texture or volume boosting product and a thermal protectant to hair.

  • Comb products through hair, positioning your hair in the direction that you want your hair styled.

  • Using a blow dryer, dry hair while using a thermal brush to blow dry bangs down and lift hair up from roots.

  • Section off hair, creating a top section and two side sections.

  • To curl the side sections, use a 1 inch curling wand to curl small sections of hair at a time. Begin, by taking about a 1inch strand of hair from a side section and curl the strand away from your face, stopping the curl about 2 inches from the end of the hair strand. Next, curl the following strand of hair, going in the opposite direction, towards your face, again stopping the curl at about 2 inches from the end of the strand. Continue this alternating process until both side sections are completed.

  • For the top section of hair, create a center part.

  • Next, to achieve more volume at your roots, you can either tease your hair at the roots, or spray a volume booster onto the roots of your top section of hair, and lightly tease your roots for added volume.

  • Then, continue using the alternating curling method on the top section of hair.

  • Spray hair all over with a dry texture spray, and use fingertips to gently tousle hair to relax curls and give hair a natural beach wave look.

  • Finish by spraying hair with a finishing spray.
